Which is better, fair or equal? This is quite the controversial topic because it possesses so much self interest when two opposing answers come to terms. Lets take two perspective students interested in technology that are applying to college. One is a middle class white male, and the other is a poor hispanic girl. The male will get very little or no financial help, whereas the girl has many opportunities to get full tuition scholarships from many different institutions and societies, both for being a girl, and for being hispanic. Also colleges will look to get just a bit more minority acceptance rate. I expect that much opinion with this issue and I will face quite a bit of animosity from many different groups. Others may find this interesting because it relates to everyone in the world. I remember the first time I looked for scholarships and told her I felt like I was being discriminated against she said,
"You are a middle class white male, it's going to happen all of your life, get used to it."
